Flying the flag of the crooked Pop grin during a time of Peak Flannel, The HOLIDAYS popped up in some entertaining places in the early ‘90’s:
In concert at Bumbershoot and classic Seattle clubs like Rock Candy and The Off Ramp. On the radio, where “Octopus Of Love” became a #1 most-requested song on KPLZ-FM (“Star 101.5”) and C-89 FM. On Microsoft’s “Video For Windows”, where the video for “Octopus Of Love” showed the colorful possibilities for the then brand-new idea of video through your computer! The HOLIDAYS didn’t get (too) famous, but did have a lot of fun…
